WHOA. It’s been a minute. If you’re reading this, thank you for checking out my blog. I pray that you’d experience the love and kindness of the Lord today.

Here’s a quick timeline of what life has been like since the first time that I posted on this blog:

September 2021: My World Race squad–Cosecha–partnered with REAP Granada to package, deliver, and serve food to impoverished communities in rural Granada, Nicaragua.

October 2021: Cosecha pioneered business as missions education in Jaco, Costa Rica as a part of the first graduating class at Oceans Edge Ministries’ Business As Missions program.

November 2021: My squad facilitated local building construction and repair with Iglesia Nazareth in Turrialba, Costa Rica.

December 2021: I spent the holidays at home in Hershey, PA.

January 2022–May 2022: I attended Adventures In Missions’ Center for Global Action, a discipleship school existing to mobilize a generation to be passionate followers of Jesus who live out their faith whether at home, professionally, or church planting overseas.

June 2022–August 2022: I spent the summer living with my dear friends Owen and Juli Pearl in Pittsburgh, PA.

Present: I am preparing to leave home to squad lead for World Race: Gap Year.

Yes, that’s right. I’m hitting the road (sky) again. Beginning two short weeks from today, I will be co-leading a squad of twenty-two college-aged individuals on a nine-month mission trip to Nicargua, the Dominican Republic, and Eswatini. What a mouthful.

With regards to activity, it is unclear what ministry will look like in each of these countries. With regards to heart posture, it will look like the pursuit of the Lord in faith, hope, and love. I am excited to share the love of the Father with those that we serve overseas and those who I will help to disciple on our squad.

I intend to write about what the process of coming to squad lead looked like. For now, I have a request: if you care about international ministry, the discipleship of a younger generation, and people experiencing the love of the Father, I humbly invite you to consider financially partnering with me. I cannot do what we are about to do without the Lord’s provision through the generous giving of people like you–people who want to see Abba’s will done on earth as it is in heaven.

Thank you for your consideration–I really appreciate it. STAY COOL.

Isaiah 43:19

See, I am doing a new thing!

Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

I am making a way in the wilderness

    and streams in the wasteland.
